This is the first of a series of pocket watches I hope to make. I made this pocket watch using salt cedar wood that has been professionally stabilised using acrylic resin. The silver and 18ct yellow gold door opens to reveal the gauze embossed watch face that is made from the same materials. The hour minute and second hands are powered by a 17 jewel Swiss wind up movement. The wooden case also opens up to allow adjustment to the speed of the mechanism
