These tiny 8mm diameter ear studs are handmade from sterling silver and 24 carat gold. They are made in the ancient Korean technique of Keum boo, where gold is fused into silver at a high temperature, in this case, gold crosses. Symbols and letters have been hand punched into the silver to create an interesting surface pattern and the ear studs have been oxidised to accentuate the gold crosses. The ear backs and posts are made from sterling silver. We also make a polished version of these ear studs.

These Keum boo ear studs have been finished in a clear, protective coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.

We exhibit and sell this range of jewellery through quality Craft and Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K.  as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
