These wonderful halved earrings are handmade from sterling silver and 24 carat gold, they are the smaller size of two similar pairs that we make. The technique used is an ancient Korean one, called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at high temperatures. The earrings are made as one complete circle, then cut into two halves, letters and symbols have been hand punched into the silver to create an interesting surface pattern. They hang on sterling silver ear wires, which are also made by us. They are similar to the "small halved earrings" except they have geometrical shapes scribed into the surface to give the appearance of antique nautical instruments. The surface of these unique earrings are given a worn, aged effect, to simulate the look of an antiquated found object.
We exhibit and sell this range of jewellery through quality Craft and Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. We also sell our jewellery through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions.
These unique halved earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our quality, branded gift boxes.
