These unique halved earrings are handmade from sterling silver and 24-carat gold. We make two pairs of similarly-scribed earrings, and these are the smaller pair measuring 23mm in diameter when the two halves are together. The earrings are slightly domed in shape and the technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum-Boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. They have geometrical shapes scribed into the surface to give the appearance of antique nautical instruments and have also been given a worn, aged effect to simulate the look of an antiquated found object. These earrings hang on a pair of sterling silver ear wires, which are also made by us.

These contemporary Keum-Boo halved earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and come in one of our branded gift boxes.

We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and art galleries throughout the U.K. and through the Dazzle contemporary jewelry exhibitions. We also feature on the UK Crafts Council directory of makers.
