These long earrings are made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold and they measure 10mm x 25mm. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature, in this case, gold crosses. Letters and symbols have been punched into the surface by hand to create an interesting surface pattern. The earrings are oxidised and then highly polished to accentuate the markings. The ear wires are sterling silver and they are also made by us.
These Keum boo silver and gold earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
