This beautifully figured Spanish olivewood box with a patterned sterling silver lid opens to reveal a disc that on closer inspection is revealed to be split into a bespoke pair of earrings that fit together snugly in the recess. The earrings are made from African blackwood, sterling silver, 18ct gold with a selective 24ct gold plate accent. The aged silver of the earrings, which has lines and symbols embossed, evokes antique astrological or nautical equipment from a long lost culture. When the earrings are nestled in the box, the removable ear wires are stored safely below.

The box measures 6cm x 6cm x 2cm and the earrings are 3.5cm in diameter.
