These handmade earrings are made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold. They have been designed and made by us in our workshop in Yorkshire. They are made in the ancient Korean technique of Keum boo, where gold is fused into silver at a high temperature, in this case gold crosses. Letters and symbols have been punched into the silver to create an interesting surface pattern and they have been oxidised to emphasize the gold crosses. The ear wires are made from sterling silver, which are also made by us.
These contemporary Keum boo earrings have been finished with a clear, protective coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as through the Dazzle Contemporary Jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
