These pointing finger, 'This way, That way' earrings are made from sterling silver and 18 carat gold. Over the years we have collected a number of letterpress and wood block printing type face sets, that we have used numerous times in our work and in other creative projects. These earrings have been inspired by some large, antique wooden letterpress pointing finger printing blocks and they have an antique, retro look to them.
The sterling silver has been embossed with an image and stamped with a background. The earrings are oxidised and then highly polished to create a strong contrast against the black details. The earrings are finished off with 18 carat gold cufflinks. The earrings measure 17mm x 43mm and the total drop length, including ear wires is 67mm. We make the ear wires, which are made from sterling silver. We also make similar 'This way, That way' earrings but with oxidised silver rather than polished.
These unusual earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our quality, branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft and Design centres and Art galleries, throughout the U.K. We also exhibit and sell our work through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions.
