Pointing finger brooch printing press image sterling silver and gold

Product Description

This pointing finger, handmade brooch was designed and made by us in our workshop in Yorkshire. It is made from sterling silver and features an 18 carat gold cufflink. Over the years we have collected a number of letterpress and printing press type face sets, that we have used numerous times in our work and in other creative projects. This brooch has been inspired a large, antique wooden letterpress pointing finger printing block, as you can see in one of the images, this gives the brooch an antique, retro feel to it.

The sterling silver has been embossed with an image and stamped with a background. The brooch has been oxidised and some areas have then been highly polished to create a strong contrast against the black details. The brooch is finished off with 18 carat gold cufflink and it measure 18mm x 44mm. We also make matching 'This way, That way' earrings.

This wonderful silver brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our quality, branded gift boxes.

This range of jewellery is exhibited and sold through quality Craft and Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K.
