Product Description
These wonderful, one off cufflinks have been designed and handmade by John in our workshop in Yorkshire. They are made from African blackwood, sterling silver,18 carat gold and a 3mm Garnet set in an 18carat gold bezel. Lines have been scribed onto the surface of the silver along with a texture, to give the cufflinks an aged antique, archaeological look. The silver has been riveted to a turned disc of African blackwood with 18 carat gold rivets, the Garnet has then been set and the cufflinks have been cut into two, to create an interesting asymmetrical pair. The cufflinks measure 26mm in diameter and are fixed onto chained cufflinks backs, which have also been handmade by John from sterling silver.
These wooden cufflinks come with their own unique stand, so they can be displayed when not being worn. This stand is made from sterling silver and African blackwood and it measures,40mm tall by 38mm square.
This piece is exclusive to our website but we exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft and Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. We also sell our work through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions.
