This extraordinary, unique decision maker has been designed and handmade by John, showcasing his creative and technical abilities flawlessly. The decision maker itself is a solid sterling silver coin, which can be flipped to determine the outcome based on the side it lands on; this coin is cast from an authentic Roman coin. The box is handmade from African Blackwood, handmade with precision to ensure the coin fits perfectly inside. The hinged lid is made of sterling silver, and has a 24-carat gold band that has been fused across the surface using an ancient Korean technique known as keum-boo. The lid is decorated with embossed stamps and symbols on the surface. The interior of the lid has been oxidised to achieve a black finish. The box measures 3cm in diameter. On average, it provides the correct decision 50% of the time! :-)
