This unusual brooch has been designed and handmade by John using sterling silver and 24 carat gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. Letters and symbols have been punched into the silver by hand and the surface is given a worn effect to create an interesting surface pattern and to simulate the look of an antique found object. 

This silver and gold brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our branded gift boxes.

We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as throught the Dazzle Contemporary Jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
