These contemporary ear studs are handmade by us in our workshop in Yorkshire. They are made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold, they are slightly domed in shape and they measure 23mm in diameter when together. We love to use the theme of halving earrings and this can be found in many of our ranges, including John's one-off pieces. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. Letters and symbols have been punched into the silver by hand and the ear studs have been given a worn effect to simulate the look of an antique or archaeological found object. 

These asymmetrical ear studs have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.

We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K.  as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
