These Razor shell earrings are made from sterling silver and 24ct gold and are the smallest of the three sizes that we make. They have been designed and made in our workshop in Yorkshire. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. The inspiration for these silver and gold earrings came from razor shells that we came across at the seaside. They are slightly curved lengthways, and they measure 10mm x 37mm with a total drop length of 50mm including the sterling silver ear wires. These earrings are handmade so the pattern on each pair will vary slightly.
These contemporary earrings have been finished in a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature on the U.K. Crafts Council directory of makers.

These earrings are carefully made with skill and flare. They catch the light and the gold on silver adds style and interest. The earrings can be worn securely because the hook fastens. I’ll be wearing these a lot! John and Dawn were in touch to tell me when the order had been received and dispatched.
