This handmade brooch is from our new jewellery range called 'The Brooch collection'. It is made using the ancient Korean technique of Keum boo, where 24 carat gold is fused to sterling silver at a high temperature. It features scribed geometrical lines and a blue moonstone. The surface of the brooch has been textured to give it a worn, aged look and a '925' sterling silver mark has been included in the pattern on the front and our maker's mark 'J D F' is stamped on the back. This brooch is slightly domed in shape and measures 45mm in diameter.
This contemporary brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our quality, branded gift boxes. We also offer a wonderful display box, which cleverly allows the brooch to be displayed as a work of art, which appears to float in mid-air, when not being worn. This window display box costs an additional £10, if you would like this box then please choose it from the drop-down menu above.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the UK and the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
