This handmade brooch is slightly domed in shape and is made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one, where the gold is fused to the silver. Letters and symbols have been punched into the surface by hand to create an interesting pattern and the surface of the brooch is given a worn effect to simulate the look of an antique found object. The inspiration for the marks on this piece came from looking at old nautical instruments and archaeological finds.

This unique brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our branded gift boxes.
