These dog earrings have been designed and handmade by us in our workshop in Yorkshire and they are made from sterling silver and 24 carat gold. The technique used is an ancient Korean one called Keum boo, where gold is fused to silver at a high temperature. The dog image, which has been designed by us, is embossed into the silver by hand, gold is applied and the earrings are then oxidised. Certain areas are then highly polished to create a contrast between the black, gold and polished silver areas. These earrings hang on sterling silver ear wires. We also make a matching brooch, which can be seen in one of the photographs above.

These  Keum boo dog earrings have been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and they come in one of our branded gift boxes.

We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K.  as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions.
