Product Description
This one off bangle has been handmade by John in our workshop in Yorkshire. It is made from a solid sterling silver rod with sterling silver hoops. It features a wonderful, hand carved Cocobolo wooden bead, that has been carved by John. This unique bangle measures 69mm, inside diameter. If you need a different size then it can re-made to fit. Please measure the inside diameter of a rigid circular bangle that fits and then enter your size in the box alongside the bangle.
Cocobolo wood is a dense wood, it is twice the weight of olive wood, making it highly durable and strong, this gives it excellent working characteristics. It is so dense that it sinks in water, unlike most other woods which float. It can be turned, drilled and planed without cracking or chipping, making it a perfect wood for John to use in jewellery making. The natural oils in the wood also gives it a natural luster when polished.
