This contemporary handmade brooch is made from sterling silver and it features an 8mm light blue chalcedony stone. The repetitive fan pattern is a traditional Japanese one and we have embossed this design into the silver by hand to create a beautiful surface pattern. This silver brooch is slightly domed and it measures 45mm in diameter and our maker's mark 'J D F' and a '925' sterling silver mark are stamped on the back.
This brooch is from our new jewellery range called 'The Brooch collection' and it comes with a choice of gemstones which are, garnet, amber, turquoise, amethyst, blue chalcedony, white moonstone, light green chalcedony, lab. grown blue opal triplet and rainbow moonstone. Please select the stone of your choice from the drop-down menu above.
This silver brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our quality, branded gift boxes. We also offer a wonderful display box, which cleverly allows the brooch to be displayed as a work of art, which appears to float in mid-air, when not being worn. This display box costs an additional £10, if you would like this box then please choose it from the drop-down menu above.
We exhibit and sell our work through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the UK, as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. We also feature in the Crafts Council's Directory of Makers.
